Background and Objectives

Our client is a leading provider of Geomatics Services and Technologies. They work extensively on Land Surveying, Aerial Photography, LiDAR, Digital Photogrammetric Mapping, and Geographic Information Systems (GIS).

Key Aspects of the Project:
The key objective of this project was to compile all DTM features and digitize all planimetric features with respect to photo scale of 1:3000. The data compiled would be used for city planning for future development.
The client’s requirements from this project were: 

  • Compilation of DTM features
  • Digitization of all Planimetric features.
  • 3 1 foot Contour Mapping Scale: 1:20 and 1:40

Services Rendered & Methodology:

  • Compilation of DTM features
    Compilation of all DTM features like, Breaklines, Streams, River, Drainage Lines, and Spot Heights, Utility features.
  • Digitization of all planimetric features
    Digitization of all planimetric features like Fence, Wall, Electric poles, Trees, Manhole, Catch basin, Sign board, Signal board, Agriculture outline, tree outlines, etc.

  • Aerial Images
  • SOCET SET Aerial Triangulation Results
  • 1 foot Contour

Deliverables:

  • AutoCAD DWG file format

  • Microstation V8
