Indian Independence Day Celebrations across Magnasoft

    Bangalore, India - Thursday, 16 August 2012

Magnasoftians across the country donned patriotic colours as they celebrated the country's 66th Independence Day on Tuesday, unfurling the national tricolour and organising a series of cultural events to mark the occasion. The Independence day was celebrated with full zeal and enthusiasm as the company wore a festive look and the Tricolour was visible in various forms across all its offices. Patriotic songs were played to mark the Independence Day.

Magnasoft celebrated the spirit of Independence with fervor, passion and great excitement. This red letter day was an endeavor to achieve greater heights, a day of pride and glory for all Magnasoftians. This auspicious day reminded us of the great sacrifice made by the patriots and martyrs. The employees of the entire organization decked out their offices with tri-colored balloons and flags. Patriotic songs were played throughout the day which invoked nationalism in one and all.

Various cultural activities and programs commemorated the day India attained freedom. The great sacrifice of Indian leaders who dedicated their lives for the cause of the country’s freedom in the past was reverently remembered by paying tribute to them with one minute of silence.

Many programmes were conducted to bring out patriotism in every person. Antakshari was played with many rounds which involved patriotism as its theme. Many patriotic songs were sung with a lot of devotion and jingoism. A quiz programme brought to light the knowledge Magnasoftians possessed about Indian geography, history and its culture. The best teams walked away with interesting goodies.

In order to address a few issues that were hindering the development of the country, a group discussion was conducted to find out if, given a chance, what new laws could be implemented by each Magnasoftian to improve the country. Interesting laws relating to many spheres of the country’s economy were discussed by the staff. A fruitful discussion took place and every particle and pollen in the air seemed to be charged with the love of the motherland. Sweets were distributed to all as a mark of celebration of our freedom. The National Anthem was sung with great fervor, which displayed the fondness and love for our country that is the hallmark of every Magnasoftian.
