Celebration Of "MILESTONE ACHIEVEMENT"
When we think of goal achievement and celebration, the picture that immediately comes to mind is the marathon runner crossing the finish line after a grueling race. The crowd is cheering, the racer is exhausted, but exhilarated. Everyone is excited and happy.

On 16-Dec-2011 the efforts translated into better returns for its shareholders by setting a new benchmark in the history of Magnasoft through toilsome effort. The Management team led by Mr. G. Sudarshan, Sr.VP – Global Sales commemorated the event by opening a Champagne Bottle.
Magnasoftians definitely believe that celebration of small victories leads to the accomplishment of greater victories and greater achievements. CEO of Bangalore based geospatial mapping solutions conferred the prestigious Udyog Rattan Award
Magnasoft Consulting has been honoured with the Udyog Rattan award by the Delhi-based Institute of Economic Studies. The award was presented to Bobbie H Kalra, Founder and CEO of Magnasoft, at a function in Delhi on 8 October by the Honourable Dr. Bhishma Narain Singh, former Governor of Tamilnadu and Assam and former Union Cabinet Minister in the presence of His Excellency Mr. Korn Dabbaransi, Former Deputy Prime Minister of Thailand, Sri. G.V.G. Krishna Murthy, former Election Commissioner.
Bobbie joins the ranks of other leading Indian industrialists who have received this honour. The Institute of Economic Studies has also awarded Magnasoft the Excellence Award for outstanding performance in productivity, quality, innovation and management.
The award to was in recognition of Magnasoft's contribution to the development of the Geospatial industry. Commenting on the achievement, Bobbie Kalra said, "It is indeed an honour to have been chosen by IES as a recipient of this prestigious award. This award not only comes as a recognition of the good work Magnasoft has put in but more so as a great source of inspiration that would drive us to achieve greater heights in the field of Geospatial Technologies".
The Udyog Rattan Award and the Award for Excellence are conferred by the Institute of Economic Studies every year. The institute closely monitors various facets of the economy and the individual contributions made by various companies and business leaders; then a panel from the institute and across the country form the jury in order to select the winners.

This multimedia application is currently used as one of the campaign tools to instantenously connet with voters and party functionaries.
Speaking on this occasion, Shri Ananth Kumar said, "This is the third in a series of technological adaptations by my team. First we created the country's first website dedicated to a politician way back in 1998. Next we created a CD E-card which is like a personal profile dossier on my career. Today we are adapting the next wave in information technology - mobile telecom. I understand that my Bangalore South voters are well educated and very tech savvy. They would prefer answer to various questions in real-time and this mobile application enables instant interaction."

Magnasoft retains ISO 9001-2000 certification
For a record 6th Consecutive year
Magnasoft today announced its successful re-certification of ISO 9001:2000.
The quality management system at Magnasoft was assessed and registered by Intertek Systems certification as conforming to ISO 9001:2000. To quote the external auditors verbatim, "It is recommended to continue the certification and issue fresh certificate since there is no major non-conformance identified during the assessment.The management system is in conformity with the audit criteria and can be considered effective in assuring that objectives will be met."
With the successful retention of the ISO 9001:2000 certification Magnasoft has strengthened its commitment to:

Shyam is currently the Engineering Director and Head of Engineering for the Integrated Consumer Experiences Division (ICE) of Yahoo-Bangalore. In addition to his insights in the internet industry, he has over two decades of experience in architecting and delivering 1.0 enterprise products at both startups and large MNCs such as Cygent, Oracle and Motorola. He has built and led high-performance product development teams and delivering industry leading products both in the US and India.
