Magnasoft Consulting founder mapped amongst the best Indian industrialists

CEO of Bangalore based geospatial mapping solutions conferred the prestigious Udyog Rattan Award

Magnasoft Consulting has been honoured with the Udyog Rattan award by the Delhi-based Institute of Economic Studies. The award was presented to Bobbie H Kalra, Founder and CEO of Magnasoft, at a function in Delhi on 8 October by the Honourable Dr. Bhishma Narain Singh, former Governor of Tamilnadu and Assam and former Union Cabinet Minister in the presence of His Excellency Mr. Korn Dabbaransi, Former Deputy Prime Minister of Thailand, Sri. G.V.G. Krishna Murthy, former Election Commissioner.

Bobbie joins the ranks of other leading Indian industrialists who have received this honour. The Institute of Economic Studies has also awarded Magnasoft the Excellence Award for outstanding performance in productivity, quality, innovation and management.

The award to was in recognition of Magnasoft's contribution to the development of the Geospatial industry. Commenting on the achievement, Bobbie Kalra said, "It is indeed an honour to have been chosen by IES as a recipient of this prestigious award. This award not only comes as a recognition of the good work Magnasoft has put in but more so as a great source of inspiration that would drive us to achieve greater heights in the field of Geospatial Technologies".

The Udyog Rattan Award and the Award for Excellence are conferred by the Institute of Economic Studies every year. The institute closely monitors various facets of the economy and the individual contributions made by various companies and business leaders; then a panel from the institute and across the country form the jury in order to select the winners.

Magnasoft retains ISO 9001-2000 certification

For a record 6th Consecutive year

Magnasoft today announced its successful re-certification of ISO 9001:2000.

The quality management system at Magnasoft was assessed and registered by Intertek Systems certification as conforming to ISO 9001:2000. To quote the external auditors verbatim, "It is recommended to continue the certification and issue fresh certificate since there is no major non-conformance identified during the assessment.The management system is in conformity with the audit criteria and can be considered effective in assuring that objectives will be met."
