Magnasoft has been named to Geoawesome’s Global Top 100 Geospatial Companies 2026 list, the 15th anniversary edition of the recognition.
Geospatial work usually sits behind other people’s decisions, in the infrastructure planning, the risk models, the maps that utilities, governments, and enterprises rely on. It’s not the kind of work that tends to get noticed on its own, so being included on this list is a welcome bit of visibility for the team behind it.
This year’s Global Top 100 was put together differently than in past years. For the first time, Geoawesome built the evaluation team from the geospatial community itself, more than 125 professionals from around the world took part, rather than relying on an internal panel alone. It’s worth noting simply because it means the list reflects a broader set of perspectives from across the industry.
Geoawesome describes the list as a look at organizations doing notable work in geospatial technology this year, across mapping, positioning, Earth observation, and the software that turns raw spatial data into something usable. Magnasoft’s inclusion sits in that context: one name among a hundred, evaluated alongside companies working on similar problems in different corners of the industry.

As Rebecca said, this belongs to the team, the engineers, analysts, and delivery staff working on projects that clients see the results of but rarely see the work behind. It also belongs to the people who took the time to nominate Magnasoft for this list in the first place. That nomination is what got us onto the shortlist, and we’re grateful for it.
Thanks as well to the Geoawesome team for running a process this year that brought the wider community into the evaluation, and for the work of putting the list together. Recognitions like this take real coordination behind the scenes, from lining up the evaluation team to publishing the results, and it’s easy to overlook that effort when the focus lands on who made the list.
Geoawesome is also putting together its first State of Geospatial report, launching in September 2026, which will include Magnasoft. It’s a separate piece of work from this list, but it points to the same thing, an effort to give the geospatial industry a clearer picture of itself. We’ll share more details once the report is out.
This recognition sits alongside the customers and partners Magnasoft works with day to day, the ones who bring the problems that shape what the team builds next, across telecom, land administration, electric utilities, and the built environment. Their willingness to hand over that work, and to keep coming back with harder questions, is a big part of what made this list possible. Looking ahead, the focus doesn’t change: keep solving the geospatial problems that help infrastructure, resource, and operational decisions hold up once they’re made.
